Shaikha Mai visits Turkish museums

Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa today visited Sabanc? Museum and held talks with its vice chairman Hasan Bülent Kahraman on promoting cultural cooperation. She toured Sabanc? Museum and was updated on Turkish management of museums. Shaikha Mai also visited Istanbul Modern Museum and Istanbul Cultural Foundation, on the sidelines of her participation in the first Arab-Turkish Travel and Tourism Forum and Exhibition, held in Bursa under the auspices of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. She also took part in a roundtable organized by Turkish Policy Quarterly on national identity and the role of culture.
