49th Cairo book fair 'important cultural event'

Algerian Culture Minister Ezzeddin Mihoubi on Saturday said that his country's participation as a guest of honor in the 49th Cairo International Book Fair in January 2018 is a great opportunity to get familiar with the Algerian culture, deeming the fair as an important and distinct cultural event.
In statements to MENA, the minister said this cultural event is certainly an opportunity for us to introduce the book, film, creativity and culture of Algeria.
The minister added that the Algerian side will organize seminars and meetings about the common culture between Egypt and Algeria, whether through history or the independence phase.
The Culture Ministry is working hard to restore the image of the Algerian culture abroad by participating in many cultural, artistic and literary events, he added.
