Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad receives Million’s Poet jury

Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa today paid tribute to the United Arab Emirates for its role in promoting poetry across the Arab World. He stressed the importance of the Million’s Poet in promoting the long-dated Arab Nabati poetry and digging into untapped gifted Arab talents and revealing budding poets. Shaikh Nasser was speaking as he received the Million’s Poet jury, currently on visit to Bahrain, commending the striking success of the pan-Arab literary success. He also lauded the programme for revealing an elite of talented Arab poets over the past years on the map of Nabati poetry. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa commended the efforts aimed at ensuring the success of the Million’s Poet, stressing his support for the programme.
