Patrick Hassey pursues fresh push for novel

Jonathon Brown has everything: a beautiful wife, a beautiful home, expensive cars and an unending arrogance. For Jonathon, the sky is the limit. Jonathon also has something he doesn’t know about that will soon change his life completely – brain cancer.
Author and cancer survivor Patrick Hassey invites readers to experience the emotional journey of Jonathon in his first novel, “Eyes through You” (published by AuthorHouse), which follows Jonathon’s trying journey.
In a matter of three months, Jonathon loses his family, his job as an executive and everything he owns. With everything he loved gone, he is left to fight for his life with only the help of his new friend, Rita.
“Jonathon is about me and what I went through,” Hassey says of his inspiration. “It was a person like Rita who helped get me through the hard times and encouraged me to help others in my circumstances, and that is where my life started to turn around.”
Throughout “Eyes through You,” readers will watch as Jonathon learns to live with his newfound disabilities and fights to regain his family’s love. Hassey hopes his readers will learn from Jonathon’s struggle that life is never worth giving up on.
