Jordanian poet Hayel Ajlouni passes away

Jordanian poet and artist Hayel Ajlouni passed away on Sunday at theage of 70 at Al Hussein Medical City. Ajlouni completed his secondary education in Cairo in 1961 and later studied atAlexandria University and Madrid University, where he earned a master’s degree ininterior design.He worked at Jordan Television and was sent on a scholarship to study televisionproduction in England and Taiwan.He was promoted several times during his career at Jordan Television.Ajlouni has several published poetry collections.He will be laid to rest at Sweileh cemetery on Monday afternoon.
