Souq Waqif festival wraps up

A large crowd of citizens, residents and tourists was inpresence Friday to watch performances as Souq Waqif festival concluded.Organized by the Souq’s management to entertain families through performancesand activities for children, festivities featured events for different age groups. Voiceof Al-Rayyan radio presented several Qatari, Gulf and Arab folklore bands andsingers on the sidelines of the eventSouq Waqif manager Mohamed Al-Salem said the festival attracted large crowds,noting that Arab tourism was particularly present.
