The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in cooperation with Earth Wind & Fire Co Ltd, Promenada Resort Mall, the Chiang Mai provincial authorities and various travel and tourism organisations have joined forces to host the Chiang Mai Fest 2014. This is the fourth year that the international music and cultural festival has been staged. The weekend event will be held on 1-2 March, 2014, at the Promenada Resort Mall in Chiang Mai. The festival brings together under one roof musicians and performers from Europe, America, Africa and Asia. The music and performers range from opera to hard rock, blues, kwela street music and maskandi music and sakkie sakkie dance from Africa. Festival goers will also be able to enjoy various Indie dance and rock bands across the two-day event. Source: Travel Daily
