The Supreme Council for the Protection of the Nile River has decided to ban the transfer of toxic and hazardous materials through the Nile River.
The decision was made in a meeting on Tuesday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and in the presence of the ministers of health, housing, environment and irrigation.
