A magnitude-5.3 earthquake shook the Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan Sunday morning, the Japan Meteorological Agency said. The agency said there is no danger of a tsunami due to the quake, which is believed to be an aftershock of the March 11 magnitude-9.0 earthquake in northeastern Japan, Kyodo News reported. There were no reports of injuries or damage caused by the 10:32 a.m. quake. The quake was centered in the city of Takahagi in Ibaraki at a depth of 5.6 miles, the agency reported.
