Third terrorist killed by Army in Tizi Ouzou

A third terrorist was killed and an automatic Kalachnikov was recovered on Wednesday afternoon by the National People's Army during an operation conducted in Aghribs zone (province of Tizi Ouzou) after the elimination of two other terrorists in the morning, Ministry of National Defence said in a statement. Following "the elimination of two (02) terrorists on Wednesday 19 March 2014 and in continuity with the combing operation launched at Aghribs/Operational Area of Tizi-Ouzou/ 1st Military Region, a detachment of National People's Army managed this afternoon to kill one (01) other terrorist and recover (01) automatic Kalashnikov," the same source stated. "Therefore, eight (08) terrorists were killed since 11 March 2014 as part of this operation which is still underway at the Operational Area of Tizi-Ouzou," the statement added.
