Algerian army foils major suicide plot

Algerian army and police forces have thwarted a huge terrorist plot to target important facilities, government premises, embassies and sports' halls in three major cities, AL Nahar Newspaper reported on Thursday.
The police said after interrogating three terrorists, arrested in a military operation, it was revealed that a number of terror groups were trying to smuggle an arsenal of sophisticated weapons to carry out simultaneous terror attacks against some key facilities in Constantine, Algiers and Oran cities, Al Nahar announced.
Also, the Algerian army units, stationed on the Libyan borders, seized a large quantity of weapons set to be used in the March 19 terror attacks , AL Nahar unveiled.
