Suicide bomber believed to be perpetrator of Tanta church attack

A Suicide bomber is believed to be the one who carried out the Mar Gerges Church attack that took place earlier Sunday and left scores dead and injured, a reliable source told MENA.
Body parts found in the scene of the explosion are believed to be for the perpetrator of the heinous attack, the source added.
Earlier in the day, an explosion went off in the prayers hall of Mar Gerges Church in Tanta, leaving at least 22 people dead and 71 injured.
After being notified of the deadly explosion, security apparatuses in Gharbia governorate, sappers along with civil protection forces rushed to the scene of the attack to assess the situation.
