Assistant interior minister for media and public relations Major General Abu Bakr Abdel Karim said Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group failed to mobilize citizens to participate in subversive acts.

In statements to MENA, Abdel Karim said MB members organized a number of limited rallies in Giza and Cairo in which they fired fireworks on police forces.

The forces dispersed the limited rallies and arrested 16 participants, he further said.
