Attacks in Egypt's Sinai kill 2 police, 3 soldiers

Militants in Egypt's restive Sinai Peninsula shot dead two policemen and three soldiers after intercepting their vehicles on Thursday, security officials said.
In two separate attacks, the militants checked the identification of the passengers and shot them dead when they proved to be police and military conscripts, the officials said.
