Two terrorists were killed and one injured when security forces intervened earlier Wednesday to foil an attempt to detonate a tourist bus near Karnak Temple in the Upper Egypt governorate of Luxor.
In statements to MENA Wednesday, a security source said the body of the third terrorist was found near the attack scene.
The terrorists tried to detonate the tourist bus, but security forces in the vicinity opened fire at them.
One of the terrorists detonated an explosive device he had when the terrorists came under fire.
No casualties were reported among the tourists, the source added.
