As many as 18 people including 14 conscripts were killed when a micro-bus collided with a truck on Abo Rudes-El Tor road on Wednesday.
The conscripts are of Dahab police department, said a spokesman for the interior ministry.
Four bodies are yet to be identified, said the spokesman.
Two people, including a police personnel, were injured in the accident, he added.
The reason behind the crash was not immediately known.
