The number of policemen injured in Mohamed Mahmoud and Qasr el-Aini streets incidents rose to 120, said a high-level security source at Cairo Security Directorate. In exclusive statements to MENA Saturday, the source said that 12 policemen were injured by cartridge shotguns, adding that six police vehicles were totally damaged. The source, meanwhile, said that so far 259 rioters have been arrested, including 13 wanted in different cases and 16 who have criminal records. All legal and security measures have been taken against the rioters, said the source, adding that the prosecution ordered that 86 of them remain detained, 22 minors be sent back to their families and 64 be released.
