Teenage sensation Sara Takanashi backed up her run of four successive wins in her native Japan with a sixth victory of the World Cup season in Oberstdorf on Saturday.

The 19-year-old was the only competitor to soar past the 100-metre barrier on both jumps for a total of 278.5 points.

Defending World Cup champion Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria (251.7 pts) was second while Slovenia's Ema Klinec was third (250.2).

Olympic champion Carina Vogt disappointed home fans with a poor 28th place finish.

World Cup standings (after eight of 19 rounds):

1. Sara Takanashi (JPN) 780 pts, 2. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (AUT) 519, 3. Maja Vtic (SLO) 368
