Platini Officially Quits Post of UEFA Chief

Michel Platini on Wednesday announced he is officially resigning from the post of the President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
"I have a clear conscience, I am certain not to have made any mistake and will continue the legal battle," Platini said in his farewell speech at the UEFA extraordinary congress.
UEFA will name its new president - either Slovenian FA president Aleksander Ceferin or Dutch FA boss Michael van Praag - later on Wednesday.
