Iran's Persepolis coach Branko Ivankovic is a candidate to replace Carlos Queiroz in the Iranian national soccer team.

Portuguese Queiroz has said he will likely part company with Iran over lack of supports from Iranian officials, Tasnim news agency reported.

Last week, Branko extended his contract with Iranian popular club Persepolis for two more years, but he has agreed with the team to leave them for national soccer team if Queiroz quits his job, according to the report.

Ivancovic led the Iranian national football team at the 2006 World Cup.
