Egypt's Mohamed El Shorbagy and Ali Farag have qualified for the final game of the 2017 Channel VAS Championships, currently held in Weybridge, England.

World No.5 Farag managed to secure a 3-2 victory on Peruvian World No.15 Diego Elias to reach a third PSA World Tour final in a row.

Farag, who won the US Open last week to add to his China Open final from last month, had beaten Elias in four of their previous six meetings and came into their semi-final clash having beaten defending champion Paul Coll in the round before.

Also, World No.3 El Shorbagy beat Indian World No.26 Saurav Ghosal 3-0.

El Shorbagy began the season with a title win at the Oracle NetSuite Open and followed that up by reaching the final of the U.S. Open, where Ali Farag prevented him from defending his crown in Philadelphia.
