Jason Day jumped three places in the men's world golf rankings Monday, moving from 10th to No. 7. Day finished second at the European Tour's Qatar Masters, which allowed him to pass Adam Scott, Charl Schwartzel and Dustin Johnson in the updated rankings. Day was four strokes behind Paul Lawrie at Qatar. That finish allowed Lawrie to go from 78th to No. 47 in the rankings. Kyle Stanley, who won the PGA's Waste Management Phoenix Open, improves 35 places to 52nd. Luke Donald, with a ranking points average of 9.588, is No. 1 for the 36th consecutive week.
