90 golfers to tee off in open golf championships 2012

Ninety young golfers have confirmed their participation for the 'RSGC AmBank Junior Amateur Open Golf Championships 2012' to be held at the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) from March 13-15. Ambank Group Head of Public Affairs Syed Anuar Syed Ali said the championships would feature four categories, namely the boys and girls Under-15 and Under-18. The inaugural championships is jointly organised by RSGC and AmBank Group with the latter providing the sponsorship. "We are proud to be associated with this significant championships that will become a stepping stone for young golfers to attain a higher level of competition," said Syed Anuar in a statement here today. The Ambank Group are also the main sponsor for the Faldo Series Malaysia Championship 2011 and SportExcel Junior Golf Championships.
