Rabat - ArabToday

The new government will be composed only of the parties of the former majority, appointed Head of Government Abdelilah Benkirane said Friday in Rabat.

“The next majority government will include the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the National Rally of Independents (RNI), the Popular Movement (MP) and the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS),” Benkirane told reporters on the sidelines of a national colloquium.

“I have discussed with the secretaries general of these parties and I am waiting for their reply to examine the details concerning the presidency of the parliament (House of Representatives) and the ministerial portfolios,” he said.
