Maltese Foreign Minister George Vella said on Friday that the terror attack that targeted the Libyan city of Zliten will unlikely force Libyan rivals to surpass their disputes.

In statements, the minister said that such news is depressing, adding that terrorism is spreading in Libya.

He also asserted that if Daesh controls Ajdabiya and Ra's Lanuf towns that means that the terrorist group will be controlling the major oil ports in Libya.

He also called on the Libyan rivals to set aside their differences and support the United Nations plan, and to implement the recently signed political deal.
