Algeria's National Team Coach Resigns After CAN 2017 Exit

Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has parted ways with national team coach, George Leekens, and his technical staff in the wake of Algeria's elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations 2017, currently staged in Gabon, the federation confirmed on Tuesday, according to state news agency APS.
After the departure of Leekens, "all his technical staff will be dismissed." The Belgian tactician was appointed national coach in late October 2016, replacing Serbian Milovan Rajevac.
