Pakistan will take on West Indies in the final of the International Cricket Council Women's World Cup qualifier tomorrow. In Wednesday's semi-final, Pakistan beat South Africa to secure a place in the final, which will be played on at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Bangladesh. Facing Pakistan will be Merissa Aguilleira's West Indies after they beat Sri Lanka in a high-scoring showdown at Khanshaheb Osman Ali Stadium (KSOAS) by 58 runs. Sri Lanka will now play South Africa in the play-off for third and fourth positions at KSOAS tomorrow. The US and the Netherlands will play each other tomorrow for the seventh and eighth spots. Pakistan created an upset by beating pre-tournament favourites South Africa. South Africa, ranked fifth in the world, are certain to drop down the global rankings after the eighth-placed Pakistan defeated them by three wickets.
