Bangkok - Arabstoday

Three-time major-winner Padraig Harrington and incoming Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley will be the headline acts at next month's Thailand Open, organisers said Friday. Defending champion Chris Wood and Japanese legend Shingo Katayama are also confirmed for the $1 million OneAsia tournament at Bangkok's Thana City Golf and Sport Club from March 14-17, a press release said. Harrington won his second successive British Open title in 2008, and lifted the PGA Championship trophy just weeks later. Fellow Irishman McGinley has played on three winning Ryder Cup teams and will captain the European side at the tournament's next edition in 2014. From : AFP
