England won the third one-day international against South Africa at The Oval on Friday by four wickets to level the five-match series at 1-1. England, set 212 for victory, slumped to 64 for three, before a stand of 108 between Jonathan Trott (71) and Eoin Morgan (73) took them to the brink of victory in this day/night fixture. South Africa made a modest 211 after winning the toss, with fast-medium bowlers James Anderson and Jade Dernbach taking seven wickets between them as the tourists were dismissed with 20 balls remaining in their innings. The series continues across London at Lord's on Sunday. Brief scores South Africa: 211, 46.4 overs (J Anderson 4-44, J Dernbach 3-44) England: 212-6, 48 overs (E Morgan 73, J Trott 71) Result: England won by four wickets Series: Five-match series level at 1-1
