The Egyptian Speedball team left here on Sunday after winning the world championship hosted by Tunisia on October 26-28.

Egypt team won the competition for the 28th time in a row. Eighteen nations participated in the event. France won the second position, Germany ranked third and Tunisia is the fourth.

Also, Egypt's junior team of speedball won the competition which was held coinciding with the senior's competition.

In statements to MENA, Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Speedball Federation Amr el Dardiri said the Egyptian team made a tour in Tunisia's Hammamet city to honor them on winning the world championship.
