Marcin Gortat and Steve Nash notched double-doubles Tuesday to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 109-100 win over Sacramento. Six Phoenix players scored in double figures to help the Suns pull to within a half-game of ninth-place Utah, and 1 1.2 games behind eighth-place Houston in the Western Conference playoff chase. Gortat led the scoring with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Nash had 18 points and a dozen assists. Michael Redd scored 16 off the bench and Channing Frey and Jared Dudley added 15 apiece for Phoenix. DeMarcus Cousins paced the Kings with a career-high 41 points and 12 rebounds. Isaiah Thomas added 25 points. Sacramento trailed 79-78 after three quarters but Phoenix scored 30 points in the fourth quarter to win its second straight game.
