Sasha Pavlovic scored 16 points Tuesday and the Boston Celtics beat Miami 78-66 in a game most starters from both playoff teams sat out. Marquis Daniels added 13 for Boston as Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett all were rested. The Celtics used the win to lock up the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Boston trails the fifth-seeded Atlanta Hawks by one game for home court advantage in the first round. Dexter Pittman led the Heat with 12 points as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh sat out. Miami holds the No. 2 spot in the East.
