Casey Fien pitched one inning of perfect relief and Glen Perkins struck out three in two innings of perfect relief to earn his sixth save. Dozier's two-run homer was the highlight of Minnesota's nine-hit attack. He went 3-for-4 and scored twice. Denard Span, Ben Revere and Ryan Doumit each drove in a run for the Twins. Adrian Gonzalez collected both Boston hits, one of which was a double. The Red Sox left six runners on base.
