Midfielder Ahmed Hassan and striker Ahmed Hossam “Mido” ‎have both been included in Zamalek’s squad for Wednesday’s ‎Egyptian Premier League game against Gouna after recovering ‎from minor injuries.‎ Egypt skipper Hassan, one of Zamalek’s key players, and striker ‎Mido, who is struggling to break into the team’s starting line-up, ‎had initially been considered doubtful for the match. Zamalek ‎coach Hassan Shehata, however, ultimately decided to include ‎both players in his 20-man squad for the upcoming clash with ‎Gouna.‎ Fullback Mohamed Abdel-Shafy, meanwhile, who sustained a ‎groin injury during Zamalek’s 1-0 victory over Wadi Degla last ‎week, was excluded from the list, along with teammate Salah ‎Soliman, who will sit out of his second consecutive game due to ‎a knee injury.‎ Zamalek are currently at fourth place in the league table with 23 ‎points, five points behind leaders Harras El-Hodoud, who have ‎played one game more. ‎ The squad:‎ Goalkeepers: Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed and Mahmoud Abdel-‎Rehim Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah; Hani Saied; Ahmed Samir; ‎Omar Gaber; Sabry Rahil; Karim El-Hassan; and Ahmed Abdel-‎Kader Midfielders: Ahmed Tawfik; Ahmed Merghany; Ibrahim Salah; ‎Ahmed Hassan; Saied Mohamed; Alaa Aly; Mohamed Ibrahim; ‎and Mahmoud Abdel-Razek “Shikabala”‎ Strikers: Ahmed Hossam “Mido”; Ahmed Gaafar; and Razak ‎Otomoyossi ahramonline .
