Vietto starts in attack for Atletico at PSV

Coach Diego Simeone has also chosen to leave Jose Maria Gimenez on the bench with the Montenegrin Stefan Savic instead playing alongside Diego Godin in the heart of the away defence at the Philips Stadion, while 21-year-old Oliver Torres lines up on the right flank.

Dutch champions PSV are without captain and leading scorer Luuk de Jong due to suspension so the Uruguayan Gaston Pereiro plays up front.

The Mexican Andres Guardado is fit after a hamstring injury and will wear the captain’s armband, while Marco van Ginkel — the recent loan signing from Chelsea — also plays in midfield.
