Amsterdam - Arabstoday
The Belgian defender has been linked with a move to England, but insists he is only focused on winning the Eredivisie title and will make a decision on his future in the summer.Jan Vertonghen has admitted that other clubs have declared an interest in signing him, but that he is fully concentrated on finishing the season well with Ajax. The Belgian is reportedly a transfer target for English sides Arsenal and Tottenham, while Newcastle are also believed to be monitoring the 24-year-old.With his Ajax contract entering its final year in the summer, Vertonghen looks likely to leave the Dutch club at the end of the season."Everybody knows that I'm open to a transfer, but you shouldn't want to leave at all costs," the defender told Algemeen Dagblad."I have a few things lined up at the moment, but it's difficult to say anything about that at the moment. I'll see what happens, if something becomes concrete."I'm focusing on putting in good performances and winning the league title for now," he concluded.Ajax are currently leading the Eredivisie standings by six points over second-placed AZ with four matches left.
