Manchester - Arabstoday

Stamford Bridge will again be the focus of attention tonight as Manchester United and Chelsea meet in a repeat of Sunday's stormy encounter. The dust may still be some way from settling on United's dramatic and controversial 3-2 win in the Premier League but, by chance, the sides must now face each other in the fourth round of the League Cup. The players involved may be different - with both clubs having fielded a number of fringe players in the previous round - but it remains to be seen whether that prevents any needle from the weekend spilling over. Chelsea were left seething when, after recovering from 2-0 down to level, they had two men sent off and Javier Hernandez struck United's winner from a seemingly offside position. In terms of the match action to come, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he intends to rotate his squad. The 2-1 victory over Newcastle in round three saw the likes of youngster Michael Keane, Marnick Vermijl and Scott Wootton given starts while Nick Powell and Ryan Tunncliffe came off the bench. New signing Alexander Buttner also started that game and the Dutchman will hope for another chance having also featured in the UEFA Champions League at Braga last week. The 23-year-old left-back joined United from Vitesse Arnhem in August in a deal worth up to a reported £4million. At the time United had been heavily linked with a move for Everton and England left-back Leighton Baines. Buttner, an undoubtedly cheaper option, immediately showed his potential by scoring a fine goal against Wigan on debut but he must bide his time behind the experienced Patrice Evra. Buttner told MUTV: "Patrice is a good player. If he plays that is okay. I look to him, I can see how he plays. I learn from that. "If Patrice is not fit or he doesn't play I have to step up. I speak a lot with Patrice. He has been helping me a lot because we are in the same position. "He tells me to enjoy it. He has played so many times at the highest level. He always goes over the game with me. That is good." United's busy programme continues as they face Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday and then travel to Braga in the UEFA Champions League next week. From FIFA
