Tripoli top, Olympiacos close behind

Asteras Tripoli sit at the top of the Superleague after two rounds of fixtures following their 3-0 win over Kerkyra tonight. The Galacticos have made an unexpectedly bright start to the new season and scored three second-half goals tonight to maintain their position at the head of the pack. They were given a helping hand by Jan Hable's 60th-minute own goal but, after that there was nothing fortuitous about their performance as Emanuel Perrone (73) and Christos Pipinis (77) wrapped things up. Defending champions Olympiacos are hot on their tails, though, having recorded a 4-0 win over Levadikos at Karaiskakis Stadium tonight. They were always in control after Dimitrios Siovas' fifth-minute opener, with Rafik Djebbour making it two before the break.
