Trab held by Besiktas

Trabzonspor were unable to move level with the Super Lig's top two after being held to 1-1 draw by stuttering Besiktas on Sunday. Trabzonspor would have joined Galatasaray and Antalyaspor on 15 points with a victory today and they were on course to achieve that after taking the lead on the stroke of half-time through Marek Sapara. However, Besiktas, who had lost their previous three matches, struck back 10 minutes into the second half through Manuel Fernandes to earn a point.
