Lisbon - Arabstoday

Sporting had to come from behind for a 2-1 home win over Gil Vicente and their first victory of the Liga season on Sunday. The hosts had collected just two points from their opening three games and they fell behind this evening to Luis Carlos' seventh-minute strike. Diego Capel levelled proceedings in the 76th minute before Ricky van Wolfswinkel scored the decisive goal five minutes from time, although substitute Zakaria Labyad was sent off in the closing stages to slightly sour the victory. Luis Leal scored a fantastic hat-trick to give Estoril a 3-1 win over Maritimo in an encounter that saw both teams finish with 10 men. Maritimo were a man down as early as the fifth minute when Ruben Ferreira saw red before strikes from Leal (29, 38 and 62) set Estoril on their way to victory. The playing field was evened up when Alberto Carlos was dismissed in the 67th minute for Estoril while substitute Granemann Adilson scored a consolation for Maritimo 10 minutes from time.
