Madrid - Arab Today

Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino made five changes to the side that beat Real Madrid on Saturday for their match with Celta Vigo on Tuesday. The Spanish champions 2-1 win over Real Madrid moved them six points clear of Carlo Ancelotti's men at the top of La Liga, but Atletico Madrid remain just a point behind Barca in second place. Javier Mascherano, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Neymar all drop to the bench, whilst Gerard Pique didn't even travel to Galicia as he is  nursing a hamstring injury. Carles Puyol and Marc Barta come in at centre-back, whilst Alex Song starts alongside Sergio Busquets and Cesc Fabregas in midfield. Pedro Rodriguez and Alexis Sanchez, who scored Barca's second goal at the weekend, are also restored to the frontline with Lionel Messi returning to his preferred false nine role. Source: AFP
