Juventus defended
Rome - Arab Today

Juventus defended their place at the top of Serie A with Arturo Vidal on target twice in a 3-0 win over Cesena on Wednesday.
The Chilean scored first from the penalty spot and then from open play as Massimiliano Allegri's men made it four wins out of four at the start of the season.  Stephan Lichtsteiner added the third in a dominant performance from the Bianconeri.
Inter Milan climbed to third with a comfortable 2-0 victory at home to Atalanta on Wednesday. Rodrigo Palacio missed a penalty midway through the first half but Pablo Osvaldo made amends with a spectacular finish before the interval. Inter continued to dominate the contest and Hernanes finally wrapped up the victory with a superb free-kick late on.
Miralem Pjanic's late free-kick ensured Roma maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a 2-1 victory at Parma. Adem Ljajic put the visitors in front in the 27th minute with a fierce left-footed shot, but Parma drew level through Paolo De Ceglie's header. Roma, however, would not be denied and with only two minutes of normal time remaining Pjanic curled in a delightful effort from the set piece to wrap up another three points.
Goal fest turns heat on Benitez
Palermo turned up the heat on Napoli coach Rafael Benitez by snatching a 3-3 draw at the Stadio San Paolo. Kalidou Koulibaly and Duvan Zapata gave Napoli a flying start, but they were pegged back by goals from Andrea Belotti and Franco Vazquez. Jose Callejon gave the home side the lead again on the stroke of half-time, but Belotti equalised after an hour to prompt whistles from the home fans as their patience in Benitez runs thin.
Sampdoria extended their unbeaten run to four games with a 2-1 triumph over Chievo in Genoa. Samp defender Daniele Gastaldello put his side ahead on the stroke of half-time before fellow defender Alessio Romagnoli headed home the hosts' second in the 80th minute. Chievo striker Alberto Paloschi gave his side a late lifeline but Samp held on for three points.
Fiorentina twice hit the woodwork and missed other goalscoring chances and had to settle for a goalless draw against Sassuolo in Florence on Wednesday. Juan Cuadrado was denied by the post in the 12th minute and his Viola team-mate Borja Valero also saw his 60th minute attempt bounced off the post. Fiorentina created 16 other opportunities but could not beat Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli on the night.
Hellas Verona came from two goals down to salvage a point from a 2-2 draw at home to Genoa. Two goals from Alessandro Matri seemed set to earn Genoa all three points at the Stadio Bentegodi, but Panagiotis Tachtsidis and Artur Ionita rescued Hellas a point and salvaged their unbeaten record this season. The point keeps Andrea Mandorlini's men in fifth place with Genoa still three points further behind in eighth.
Torino came from behind to beat Cagliari 2-1 on Wednesday evening for their first win of the season. Andrea Cossu put the hosts ahead in the 11th minute after taking advantage of a poor clearance from Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli. Torino hit back with two goals in the space of eight minutes from Kamil Glik and Fabio Quagliarella to lead at half-time.
