London - Arabstoday
Four second-half goals helped Ethiopia to a convincing 5-0 victory over Somalia in the second leg of their first-round 2014 FIFA World Cup™ qualifier in Addis Ababa. After last week's first leg in Djibouti ended goalless, Ethiopia hit the goal trail in emphatic style, with Omod Okwury (5), Shimeles Bekele (62, 65) and Getaneh Kebede (87, 90) all on target. As a result, Ethiopia progress to the group stage of the Africa qualifiers, which will get underway next summer. Ethiopia have been drawn in Group A alongside South Africa, Botswana and the Central African Republic.
