Celtic wish stricken Sno well

Celtic have pledged their support to their former player Evander Sno after the Dutchman suffered a cardiac arrest during a match yesterday. The NEC Nijmegen midfielder collapsed during yesterday's 5-1 defeat to Feyenoord, but he was able to get back to his feet and walk off the pitch. The 25-year-old was thankful for an internal defibrillator fitted after he suffered a previous cardiac arrest during a game for Ajax reserves two years ago. Sno spent the night in hospital after the effects of the defibrillator led to an abnormal heartbeat, but the fact that the device revived him on the pitch is an obvious source of comfort.
