Minister expects deal by the end of March
Khartoum – Abedalgoum Ashmeag

Minister expects deal by the end of March Khartoum – Abedalgoum Ashmeag South Sudan's Petroleum and Mining Minister Stephen Dhieu Dau has revealed plans to resume oil pumping through pipelines and facilities in Sudan.Speaking exclusively to Arabstoday, Dau claimed his department undersecretary would lead a delegation to open dialogue with the Sudanese government in Khartoum, in an attempts to reach a new fuel agreement. The southern state minister said he expected “technical points” to be finalised by the end of March. The lack of agreement between Khartoum and Juba recently led President Salva Kiir to halt oil pumping through Sudanese pipelines. Before the two countries separated, South Sudan pumped approximately 470,000 barrels per day.
