Somalia state radio employee gunned down

Radio Mogadishu was gunned down on his way to work in the capitalcity Saturday, dpa cited his colleagues as saying. Ahmed Sharif Husein was a radio technician and trainer for radio technicians at the broadcaster. "Unidentified gunmen shot the victim while he was on his way to work," radio editor Mohamed Abokar told dpa. "We are very sad forloss of our colleague." So far this year, six media workers have been killed in Mogadishu; 18 were killed last year.
