Bahraini BRTC participates in GCC officials' meeting

The Acting Director-General of Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation (BRTC), Bassam Al-Thawadi, participated in the tenth meeting of TV officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-member countries in the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh on March 18-19.
The meeting discussed various topics pertaining to cooperation between members, including boosting Arab Gulf identity and efforts aimed at consolidation of GCC citizenship. The meeting also discussed the idea of joint production of social drama, cultural, documentary movies, late night TV talk shows.
The meeting also discussed the idea of holding meetings and awareness seminars in addition to intensification of training courses and media workshops for TV staffs in addition to mutual visits exchange programmes.
