Tunisian citizens storm a hospital
Tunisia - Arab Today

Tunisian citizens stormed a children hospital in Bab Saadoun city and tried to smash equipment due to the doctors' strike, which did not take into account the cases of their sick children, elder people, women and others who have waited long enough after months of reservation to find that the doctors refuse to treat their children.
The doctors' strike started on 8 February 8, in response to claimed frequent insults to their sector, as a physician was imprisoned recently due to a medical failure which the Doctors Syndicate refutes. The syndicate said that the accused doctor was innocent, and the court charged her due to the pressure of the street and Facebook, before it decided to release her.
A fierce campaign against doctors and against medical abuses is taking place in Tunisia and against the shortage of equipment. The campaign led by activists on social websites and a number of media outlets. The campaign was derived by the outraged citizens who have expressed their indignation and anger from the frequent strikes that postpone their appointments and prevent them from receiving treatment or get medication.
All data on the health situation in Tunisia suggest that the public hospitals, which receive 70% of the citizens, are no longer subject to avoid. It became very tragic status as the large number of problems of which perish and bitterness of the citizen and the nurse and doctor alike, countless problems linked to a low infrastructure and lack of health equipment, tires, degradation of services provided to patients who belong to the majority of needy and poor classes that are not available to cover the social and resort to public hospitals in the hope of receiving the lowest possible cost of treatment.
