Countries to participate in Alexandria fair

Alexandria Library Alexandrina - Arab Today Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with the Egyptian Publishers Association, is organizing its book fair which will take place between March 28 and April 7. Several countries will participate in the event, namely Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Turkey, in addition to a number of Egyptian and Arab publishing houses. Many events and activities will be held during the fair. Moreover, book signing ceremonies will be held by writers and novelists. The invitation is extended to the Egyptian General Book Authority to participate through its publications and also to the General Authority for Cultural Palaces within the framework of the constant and constructive cooperation between the library and the ministry of culture to enrich cultural life in Alexandria. Alexandria Library book fair was a great success last year. Around 400,000 guests visited the fair and 100 publishing houses participated. Source: MENA
