Distinguished Kuwaiti in Beirut Book Fair Beirut - Arab Today Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati opened Friday Beirut International Book Fair Friday, saying the Lebanese capital would always remain a hub for Arab and Western intellectuals. The book fair is organized by the Arab Culture Club, and features participation of 210 Lebanese publishing houses and 55 Arab publishers. Mikati underlined importance of dialogue at all levels. "The free word will remain high and protected," he added. Kuwait information ministry, the research and studies center, and the National Council for Culture, Art and Letters (NCCAL) are participating in the book fair. The book fair will include cultural and musical events to be held on the sidelines. Source: KUNA
